    Filched off of OTIB....

We have had big debates recently over Crest and Robin, we are split 50% for and against, I am not repeating that debate but here are a few idea's, what do you think of them, or could you come up with something better, different or new...?

I am a big Robin fan,but out of the three the top one is best without the 82 bit.

The third one at first glance looks like it is for West Ham or some other team with WH as initials

They are not particularly good. I have never seen any poll with a reasonable sample size that does not favour the Robin. I would like to see it used alongside a return to some more traditional values. The club "may" be changing and moving away from this may be a good time to reuse the club's tradition and fan culture. There are a lot of things that define bristol city it would not be hard to turn then into a campaign.

Think? Not a lot. There are better designs around. The club would benefit from using part of its identity more. Hanging onto the crest won't make it more popular. The Robin is and will remain part of the club's identity, City should profit from that, and use it to their advantage.

They are not very good. There are better done. Many of the ideas fans have are superior and make City's marketing look weak.

Simple idea. Along with other things like a friendly v Willem II why do 't City state what their intentions are, and if it's stick with the crest explain why it is so superior. Fans will carry on regardless as the Robin is symbolic of the club and terrace culture.
