At least they'll be able to use their toilet ! https://www.gillinghamfootballclub.com/news/2020/september/a-letter-from-the-chairman/ Mr. Scally's letter comes with little surprise. Everything it contains could be guessed -- and I do appreciate that, when it comes to the admission policy for fans ( whenever that happens ), his hands are tied by Government / FA policy........ ........... what wasn't controlled by Government / FA policy, was the disrespectful wording regarding STH fans (( he referred only to STH )), who did not sit in the seat to which they were directed --'' STH will have their season tickets revoked ''! -- how to win friends and influence people -- the very people, without whose money, Mr. Scally concedes we would not have a Club for the coming season.. I won't relish not being able to sit in my seat (( for maybe the entire season )), and I will comply with rules, which I appreciate are not controlled by our Cub -- so - I won't be in any danger of having my season ticket revoked -- but.... .... to state that STH will have their season tickets revoked etc, is an insult. Do I really need to point out the many ways in which enforcement can be achieved - without this drastic measure for a first-time offender ? ( no latitude was implied ) ...... and what of the plebs ? .........What about non-STH who disobey the rules ? Will they be subject to the same 'death penalty' sentence ? - or are STH being treated with contempt and lack of intelligence and / or commonsense now that he has got our money ? (( some of that statement is true - particularly about being foolish to part with money ) As I was reading Mr. Scally's letter, I was nodding my head in total acceptance - until I came to the part when it told me that, ( as a STH ), I would have my head cut off if I dared sit in the wrong seat............. ......... Like I said, I won't break the rules - but - as far as I am concerned, the letter by Mr.Scally - and the particular reference to the punishment of STH, is nothing short of a public relations disaster ---- does he honestly expect to encourage '' ordinary'' fans to purchase a season ticket by his attitude ? He'll be lucky if people bother to pay £ 1o to watch on ifollow -- at least you can do that sitting where you like in your own home - even on the toilet --- down which is precisely where Mr. Scally's letter can go - after I have used it to wipe my ar$e.
