First of all we had Villa away where Lamps broke the record and the mental scenes that followed will live with me forever.
Then we go to Amsterdam and win the Europa League final and become one of only 4 teams to win every European trophy and something no English club apart from us will ever do.
Then Lamps signs the new contract
And finally we will hopefully secure 3rd place at a buzzing Stamford Bridge and it's Rafa's leaving party!

Amsterdam was great. I was only there a short while. Landed 2 hours before kick off but go to the ground in good time etc. Police were being right karnts and were nicking people for the smallest of things. All arrests I saw were Chelsea fans for the most minor of offences! I know there was a fair bit of trouble between Chelsea vs Benfica and then Ajax fans but even so they were being ridiculous.

It's a fantastic ground in a good area. Stewards were karnts as well taking some flags from us as we went in the ground. Yet smoke bombs managed to make it in!
First half was poor from us and the atmosphere matched that tbh. It was flat. Second half Torres scored a great goal to send us mental before they scored a penalty. Their players weer doing a good job at cheating as they rolled 5 times for the smallest of challenges.

Then the magical moment when that ball floated into the back of the net. The stadium was silent. Then sheer jubilation in our end. Smoke bombs let off... Wild scenes. The final whistle went shortly after and we had created some amazing history. Hats off to the players in game number 68 for all the hard work and it well and truly paid off.

We got back at 6.30am this morning. Absolutely shattered but time to recover before Sunday to then have a ****ing awesome time on Sunday. What a blinding week.

Video of our smoke bomb and celebrations I took: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V5IDYH-ke0U

Thanks as always BB. I do think our supporters need a leader in song though, someone to bring it all together as we seem a bit all over the place at times, all in unison as one voice would be fantastic. Well done to all our supporters though and as usual I'm wishing I could have been there especially when our winning goal went in

We used to have a bloke called Mick Greenaway, angel, who effectively created the Shed, and who's voice could be heard all over SB and all the away grounds! He was the one that stirred up all the chanting and singing in the 60's onwards! He died at a relatively young age in the 80's and he's never really been replaced!

Yea I remember him, that's what I meant, we used to stand quite close to the Shed end ( late 60's) and it was brilliant.
