As an Arsenal and Sheffield United fan, it's an absolute pleasure to be watching QPR play right now. They're moving at a great pace, Taarabt looks fantastic, and Wright-Phillips is on form. How you're not winning is beyond me. It's so refreshing to watch a newly-promoted team push continuously, looking to attack all the time. In Warnock, as you're very much aware, you have a very astute Manager who seems to have got the new signings playing fantastically well together already. Can't tell you how impressed I am. I really hope the players don't tire in the second half because they've been a joy to watch so far. I'm definitely being won over the the Rangers, and really, genuinely hope you not only stay up, but turn a few heads doing it. On tonights performance so far, you'll have no problems. Good luck guys!!
Cheers bonstar, we need to turn the chances into goals though, thats what makes a true prem team, as you say we're doing everything else right!
Cheers Bon, enjoying it as well. Just concerned we're missing too many chances and will get suckered.
Can't knock what he says Houston, but "I support Arsenal and Sheff Utd"??? Come on???!! If he'd said we were s**te it'd be the first thing you'd pick up.
Thanks Bonstar - how we didn't win tonight I don't know - sure the goals will come soon though, an encouraging start from the new boys
I watched tonight as the wife and lad are Newcastle fans and i wanted to see how SWP got on, as a neutral i enjoyed the game and SWP had a cracker, i think you will do well this season.
Bit harsh, although you'd call Mother Theresa a miserable ****. Two teams does make you a target though.
Nothing wrong with just being a fan of football and theres nothing wrong with following two teams. As well as following QPR I also support Bath City (went to school in Bath). Yes Sheff Utd and Arsenal are closer in standard than my two teams, but that's not his fault. Leave him alone! He only came on here to praise us anyway!
Its ridiculous. Its something a child would say. If someone says to me they support two teams, to me they support neither. I mean how can they? Its almost as bad as changing teams (although not quite). (Oh and Mother Theresa was a miserable cu*t. Read "The Missionary Position" by Christopher Hitchens.)
Thanks Bonstar, you didn't have to come on here and say anything. But the fact that you did, and that it was positive towards us long suffering hoops, is much appreciated, nice one mate.
Well that's what happens when you look as good as we did tonight... you pull! Get used to it guys, could be pulling all season at this rate! Tell ya what Bonstar baby, get rid of them silly clubs. If you can't hack Liverpool and Everton, might as well become an R! It's where the smart money's going these days!
Thanks guys...or at least some of you. I was born and raised in Sheffield, a lifelong Blades fan by birth. When I was little, my Auntie was David Platt's Solicitor. I wrote letters to him, he wrote back. Pretty sweet for a young kid to have one of your England heroes writing to you. I followed him at Arsenal, and carried on following them afterwards. I liked their ethos, the way they played, and the fact one of my heroes played for them meant I had a tie to the club. If they played each other, obviously I'd be full-on on the side of the Blades. Feel free to insult me all you want, each to his own I suppose.
