Jesus, the bookies would have a nightmare at an accumulator like this one :

    Chelsea 2, Bradford 4
    Man. C. 0, Middlesbrough 2
    Southampton 2, Crystal Pardewaces 3
    'Spurs 1, Leicester 2
    Cambridge 0, Man. U. 0
Hearts (unbeaten all season) 2, Falkirk 3

And all except the Cambridge result, home losses! I know nowt about bookies' odds, but surely you're talking a million to one on that lot. What an incredible day!!!

That will teach them to field fringe players who could be levelling things out if the bigger clubs did not sign them up just to fill squad numbers.

The guy in 909 reckoned that if you'd gone for Boro, Bradford and Leicester, you'd have got over 10,000 to 1. Don't know if that's radio hyperbole but doesn't sound that far-fetched does it?

Thanks mate. Wow, add the Southampton and Hearts results and that would make one hell of a '5 away wins' accumulator.

I doubt it. 22/1 (Bradford) 16/1 (Boro) and not sure what Leics were but it wasn't more than 10/1. As a tri fold accumulator probably around 4000/1 or there abouts maybe a bit more.

Yep, thought that a bit high. Everyone getting caught up in the moment.

But 4,000/1 is still pretty good!

Thanks mate - I know absolutely bugger all about betting odds. Still, 4000 on Palace and, even at fives, you'd have £20,000 riding on a previously unbeaten Hearts losing at home to a Falkirk side that were lagging behind Queen of the South on Friday!

It's a fair old pile for one day. That would be £1 to remember!
