Just watched this game through a live feed, great entertainment Torquay won 4-3. They made harder work of the game than they probably needed to, but looked quality at times. Cameron looks a rock at the back, Dean Moxey at 34 makes them tick, a very talented midfielder called Nenmane (French ex Man City) 23 years old, they will do well to hold onto him. But ex player Lemonheigh-Evans was quality and danger throughout, he can cross a ball and scored the late winner, I really hope that we have a healthy sell on clause for him, it's the 2nd time I have seen him this season and he looks impressive. The winning goal was a sublime move that if in the prem the pundits would not shut up about.
I couldn't agree more, he is an achiever at various levels and a mix of clubs, I won't transgress into father unlike son, well done GJ.
He has certainly got them playing there is no denying that and they look a cut above the rest of that league and have some talent that they will do well to hold on to. Maybe he has mellowed in his old age????
Hopefully good old GJ can get Torquay back into the football league this season. I follow their results and performances closely. Didn't watch the game but did watch Woking v Eastleigh live
I saw that one too and yesterday I watched The Gaffer. It's a BT film following the Managers of Eastleigh, Bromley, Maidstone Utd and Harrogate a couple of years ago and is a really excellent documentary. I've still got the BT film Football Outposts to watch
Try to find a video of Torquay's winner by Lemonheigh-Evans yesterday, it was sheer quality, well worth a search.
Can only find still photos from the Weymouth v Torquay game unfortunately. Will see if the Vanarama Highlights show is due to be on soon on BT Sports.
Yes, I bought a pass to watch the game from Weymouth, the highlights aren't up yet, but fast forwarded to the goal, I counted 13 passes floor passes from a defensive position to scoring the goal and no Weymouth player got near it, absolute quality.
