Ok, as we seem to be playing a game of name that player on not606 this morning. With Keds and Montrose being previously named and to whom's defence I have jumped.

I believe Myles Weston's was the number one questionable performance in my opinion as a second half substitution for Charlie Lee. Not for what he did on the ball, more to do with his positioning and for what he was doing when he was off the ball to help out the rest of the team last night?

Disagree with you for once mate.

I think he created more chances than any other player, nobody got their head on the ball though.

Below is my comment from another thread: Personally I feel that if we utilise Myles in the right way, he is by far our most dangerous player.

"Additionally i dont think we are playing to Weston's strengths, he is best when starting from deep and running at players whilst they are retreating, last night he was getting balls round his throat allowing the defender to get set in his position, much harder to go round someone when they are set and all you have is 5 yards of space to go into"

I have been full of praise for Weston on other occasions but these are the weaknesses as I see them. Has pace but not enough to outrun the opposition he has been up against to date. Crosses are effective if he can get them in. He succeeded against Morecambe (see my match report) because as I stated they did not do for example what someone such has Charlie Lee would do, although that cost us last night! Exeter were much more effective at containing Weston exploiting his weaknesses. With Danny Jackman at left back and bearing in mind he scored, are we pushing far to forward for someone like Weston to be effective. I would certainly have Weston in my team but sadly last night he reminded me to much of Jo Kuffour waiting for the ball to be delivered to his feet. What do I mean by that, someone like Tomlin would have gone in search of it. To static at times, sorry guys but then I have never pretended to be a tactician.

I think Weston is a quality player who does bring an edge to the forward line , however , I do feel he needs to come looking for the ball perhaps by coming inside more if there is a need to so. how effective would he be running from deeper on occasions and straight at central defence? I feel that MA needs to tweak things with both Weston and Kedwell as our opposition are finding their style of play somewhat predictable. Just my thoughts as fan!
