Looks like we can add the Boleyn Ground to our travels next season!

Didn't go there when we was in the PL so would be good to have a trip down there, but if they come down it will make it harder to go up, tbh the division as a whole will be a higher quality next year :(

Not necessarily. Was listening to some of the West Ham fans on the radio earlier. It's fair to say they're not happy campers. The Chairman seems to be on a one man mission to kill the morale in the squad.

Think the PL teams will perform better than the three of us who came down last season - but all is not well at West Ham. Think they could struggle to get promoted straight back.

It's a pretty disappointing ground to visit. Quite boring, actually.

There'd have to be a complete overhaul of their squad and they may struggle to cut their wage bill in a lot of instances.

I wouldn't be too worried about West Ham in particular, but I do think the league will be muhc higher quality next season. It's important to remember that 3 of the 4 playoff teams will stay down, I think Cardiff will be one of them and will be challenging at the top again next year. There'll be 3 relegated teams who may be worth worrying about (especially Wolves IMO), the 3 League 1 teams coming up might be good too, I think Brighton and Southampton have better squads on paper than Leeds, Milwall and Norwich had when they came up and they were all challenging too. On top of that there's teams like Leicester, Ipswich, Coventry, Boro, Bristol, Burnley, etc. who will all feel (like ourselves) that next year will be 'their year'. It ain't gonna be easy that's for sure.

We're going back to their ****-hole,
    Back to their ****-hole etc

    Dump of a ground.

They'll lose Parker and probably several others, but the porno twins will throw everything they have at getting them straight back up. That's if they don't self destruct first, those two are bonkers.

I think Sullivan is completely Ga-Ga! But David Gold seems very honest, self-analytical and forthright in my opinion.

David Gold on West Ham responsibility

It's ironic that in a time when Managers are sacked even when they are doing a good job, Gold and Sullivan's loyalty to Avram Grant has probably cost them millions.

Imagine what might have happened had they sacked him and appointed Roy Hodgson.

As far as the Club is concerned, I'm glad they're likely to be relegated (even though it probably makes life more difficult next season for any aspiring Championship clubs) as they have cheated relegation many times over the recent past (an I mean cheated!)

They've admitted they'll lose their england internationals. I remember last season they said it would be armageddon for the club to go down due to the state of the finances, I'm assuming it'll be the same this season, they could come with a tumble worse than us. I reckon quite a few teams with be in for Demba Ba, they'll lose Robbie Kean and Wayne Bridge, plus a few others.
