What? It's not his fault our midfield and strikers can't score more. He made a couple of great saves. Credit where it's due.
The fact he actually turns up on the pitch is the only credit I can give him, Marshall makes saves that you'd expect, his eyes closed punches are not what I expect, his wavy armed attempt at a save are not what I expect.
Snodgrass - Our only real attacking threat. Worked his socks off. Huddlestone - Another strong performance Dawson - He made more saves than Marshall. WBA could have had 6 without his blocks and tackles.
Livermore - best game for a while Huddlestone - on his best form for some time Snodgrass - played and ran hard - hoping to get noticed for a transfer Mbokani and Diomande are two peas in a pod - both **** and Maguire flatters to deceive - looks good charging forward but defending and distribution suspect
Livermore easily the best player on the pitch. Hudd Elmo In open play we were by far the better team. All that work undone by 2 corners. At 2-1 down I still thought we'd grab a second. Oh dear. Positives: Mason did well for the time he was on the pitch. Our passing for most of the game was PL quality. Negatives: No goal threat from our 2 strikers despite being dominant for 45 mins. Elmo's an arsey git when his team mates have a go at him.
