    Morning one and all,

So we travel to West Brom this weekend for a reunion with Woy. Much respect must be paid to the manager who took us to the heady heights of that European final in Hamburg. True he left when we all hoped he would take us forward as a club but he kept us in the premiership and helped manage us to the European dream that I thought would never happen.

As for the game itself, what can we expect ? The team should be buoyed by the mid week performance against the dark side. I only managed to catch the first half online but we really showed that we are improving game on game under Jol. Frei was brilliant, as was Kasami. Sa looked a real handful up front, quick and playing off the shoulder of the last man, he fitted in to our new system excellently. Should mention aswell that what I saw of Gecov was impressive, good positioning and his distribution was simple but effective.

As well as we played, I think we may struggle to score against the Baggies though. They are bottom of the table and their defence is leaky, however, if Roy employs the same tactics as he did for us then we may find it hard. We struggled to breakdown Blackburn who played very defensively and with a narrow midfield that packed the middle of the park. These are classic Roy tactics so hopefully we will have learned from Blackburn. As for their attacking abilities, Long is deceptively quick and strong and Odemwingie is quality.

0 - 1 with Dempsey getting a much deserved winner.
