I cant see him wanting to go back. While he loves Forest we all know that but what would he gain from going back. He felt he achieved all he could at Forest and it was the right time to move on Forest would need to bid between 2-3M to get him and as we proved with Kasper even then we dont need to sell
I hate the way this article is worded, seems to suggest all Forest have to do is show interest and Morgan would be there instantly. Very Forest-biased by East Midlands Today (they always are!). I am slightly worried about it, will lose a lot of respect though for Morgan if he does go, I know they're his club (although if I remember correctly, like Pearson he grew up supporting County) but this is a sideways move at best. He could play in the Premier League if he wanted to.
Nothing really surprises me in football these days ... but if Wes was to go back there ... that would. That said, only time will tell.
If Curtis Davies is worth over 2 million which some mugs have paid, Wes Morgan in the Championship team of last season must be worth 4 million.
In the last two Leicester posts on this thread, one poster accuses us of not bidding enough and the other accuses us of overpaying.
Like Kasper, the evaluation of Morgan would be very high. Forest won't pay it. Again, if Morgan did really want to move, he'd have to hand in a transfer request i would have thought. It's all very similar to the Kasper situation (since they're how two biggest assets at the moment), with the lure of his own town club replacing Prem football. That said, there were rumblings about Morgan leaving Forest long before he did. Not sure he's too bothered about the home town bit.
Just like Kasper, Wes only has 12 months left on his contract Contracts that run out at the end of the season Kasper Schmeichel, Paul Konchesky, Wes Morgan, Zak Whitbread, Neil Danns, Lloyd Dyer, Sean St. Ledger, Martyn Waghorn, Richie Wellens, David Nugent
