A landmark report says scientists are 95% certain that humans are the "dominant cause" of global warming since the 1950s. The report by the UN's climate panel details the physical evidence behind climate change. On the ground, in the air, in the oceans, global warming is "unequivocal", it explained. It adds that a pause in warming over the past 15 years is too short to reflect long-term trends. The panel warns that continued emissions of greenhouse gases will cause further warming and changes in all aspects of the climate system. To contain these changes will require "substantial and sustained reductions of greenhouse gas emissions". Your tiny pikey-brain can't even begin to understand Global Warming. Give this a go, there are a lot less words in it http://www.globalwarmingforyoungminds.com/
Load of pish. The Earth has always been subject to climate changes. Scientists know **** all about **** all.
No one knows what the **** the consequences, in that extreme weather and long term climate patterns in our current scenario are immensely complex. It is not a matter of dispute among the Scientific Community that we are altering the chemical composition of our atmosphere, the net result being climate change, we know no more than that. Basically, to cut to the chase -we need to remodel our market economies
How do you know that the Earth has always been subject to climate change, if scientists know **** all?
Anyhow, I do my bit for climate change. I discharge aerosols as often as possible and run hot water before I leave the house. Canny say the climate is getting any warmer yet.
