We have 2 months until the new season starts which seems like plenty of time to get in the new players our deflated and flawed squad need.

But it has signs of being another frustrating transfer window for Arsenal fans as Wenger haggles over the smallest of percentages in transfer fees only to lose out on the key personal needed either for them to remain where they are or for our competitors to come in and swoop them.

Wenger treats the money he spends as though it comes out of his own pocket and although it's admirable the why he has balanced the books over the years and pushed for restructuring the club with the new training ground and stadium he needs to leave that to the people handling the money and do what's needed for the team.

Last summer we were crying out for an experienced goalie but feel a 1-2 million off Fulhams' valuation for Schwarzer with the players seemingly itching to join. Supposedly in the January transfer window we but in a last minute bid for Samba which failed with not enough time.

We need Wenger to grow a pair rather then acting like a reluctant pensioner haggling over the bus fare and get the job done. Last minute deals sometimes work for us but more often than not it's been a mistake. Get the players in now, the supporters and playing squads spirits will both rise and they'll be able to have a good pre-season with us ready to start the new campaign.

Wenger, lose the arrogance there's no longer a principal of building on youth and tight spending there is only success and failure.

    well said!!

dont know how many times i've said this...over so many years:

DO NOT put your hopes up
IGNORE all rumours or supposed links
DON'T hold your breath waiting for 'arsenal.com' to confirm a new signing - look how long it took to confirm Jenkinson..like we didn't know that weeks ago
LOWER your expectations of what wenger is supposed to do
come to realisation that very little will happen...change or develope over the years let alone transfer window

wenger will not want to change anything he's done in the past even if he says to the public 'change needs to happen' - his ignorance and big ego will not allow him to go against his policy - it would be him admitting defeat..his magical policy of winning something with youth..no experience unless its at a bargain will not change

lower your expectation and you'll be fine!!

    5 star post btw

LOOK THERE'S NO POINT IN GETTING HEATED ABOUT TRANSFERS BECAUSE WENGER DOES'NT USUALLY SIGN ANYONE UNTIL THE LAST FEW DAYS OF THE TRANSFER WINDOW.

So we wont know either way until practically the start of the new Season.

'The Bear' - This is my point, waiting until the last minute usually means we miss out on the players we need OR if we do get them we they have less time to adapt to the squad before the new season

WE as fans know this..but wenger refuses to accept this - must be telling himself, trying to persuade himself. .."no no my way is the right way"

its a shame..isn't gonna be any different this transfer window ..so just sit tight and accept it!

For ****s sake the international transfer window hasn't even opened yet. Grow the **** up and stop complaining because we haven't signed an average English midfielder for the price of Henry.
