According to their board the players they've bought mean they'll be convinced thet'll be taking an 'easy 6' off you lot too. The level of arrogance from a team that has been on relegation form since Feb is incredible.

We might go down, they might beat us twice but then again maybe neither of those things might happen. Just hope their players believe the hype coming from their fans because they could be in for a ****ing long season if they do.

Swansea fan in peace - hey, you guys have gotten promoted to the Prem and your team has earned you the right to look at the bigger picture and enjoy the good times. Both our clubs have experienced the lower divisions - Jeez, what else do we watch football for other than to enjoy the good times?

Sounds like a good idea to branch out into smaller clubs as feeders - might be one for us to half-inch. Compared to them, you really see the financial might of the Prem clubs.

I'm gonna bet that you'll have a manic time leading up to deadline day. As I say, have fun - fans of both our clubs have had too much downers not to.

Sorry to burst your bubble girls but there are FIFA regulations in place to prevent any single owner raping one club to feed another. If it was possible then don't you think that Obramavich et al would have done this already.

About Tan, would you prefer he openly INVEST his money into your club as opposed to masking high interest loans as investment? These loans are incurring massive debt for you, happy?.

You guys got to stop walking around like Stevie Wonder, open your eyes and realise your TRUE position.

Tan has invested NOTHING in your club but has tied you to masked high interest loans instead, you are tied to him, not the other way around. The interest on Tans' LOANS will suck you dry like the supine victim. There is no investment what-so-ever from Tan, as he promised, to boulster the squad and help maintain your presence in the premiership beyond this season.

Its time for you to stand up and fight for your club instead of ****ing lyrical about how big you think you are. In reality, all you are is a simple entry in Tans Offset Tax Ledger.

Tan has invested nothing in your club yet, in desperation, you gave him your soul, all you are is paper work, nothing more.

    Enjoy the good times <ok>.

    Cheers Goodland <ok>

Great to have sensible comments from a Swan.

You, Mabon and SwansCartoonHead should start the voices of reason club down west.

Our local derbies will now have much higher levels of interest - if that is at all possible.

    Absolutely spot on Stumpy. <applause>

Darren Moron Gough was on Talk****e recently spouting about how Tan deserves credit for 'ploughing his money' into the Redbirds. I was screaming at the radio! They are LOANS ffs! Sam Hammam ring a bell? He's no love for the Club and is only interested in making money off it. We saw that in his interview when he said that if the fans moaned too much he'd cut and run. Nice guy. NOT! Anyone who thinks a hard nosed billionaire cares about their club beyond how much money they'll make off it is very very wrong imo.

A fortunate promotion in a poor league last season and a subsequent lack of real quality in new signings will put paid to their little adventure which the fans will enjoy up to a point but which their owner couldn't really care less about. He realises that to maintain success in the Prem you can't do it on the cheap. You can get lucky as we did with Michu but that's rare. Bigger signings = bigger salaries = less profit for the owner. After relegation, exit Tan, hello another mountain of debt to pay back - which he will no doubt get from the enormous parachute payments which the Club would hope to have to rebuild. Those payments will include interest at a healthy rate. Tan will sell the Club at a knockdown price but he won't care at that stage. Another Asian speculator does well thank you very much off the back of the fans' misery.

You read it here first....or maybe not. Speculation? Maybe. But it's based on facts that we know about regarding the nature of the loans and your owner's mindset. Anyone who thinks this isn't at least a possible scenario should say why they think that is. Seem to recall most of you fell for Ridsdale's crap - even when he sold season tickets in advance.

Slight difference KJ - Ridsdale had no money so put nothing in.

VT has put in substantial sums, that is not disputed. He has stated his intention to capitalise but won't do so until the Hammam situation is resolved. Why should he put himself in a potentially weaker position than Hammam/Langstone? The negotiations between the 2 parties are confidential so despite much speculation no one knows the current state of play.

How do you know about lack of quality in our signings? There has only been one so far. What do you know about the quality of yours apart from Bony. The Ince situation went public through Blackpool who were trying to drive up the ante from other buyers. It looks like Ince never wanted to come to us - up to him but if no one else bites then both he and Blackpool will have shot themselves in the foot.

Malky and VT like to keep deals under wraps until they have happened or have reached they stage that they will happen shortly. This has been the way they have worked for the last 2 years. With that in mind we have every confidence that there will be an influx of new players over the next 3/4 weeks. As to their quality, as with the majority of yours, time will tell.

To the sensible posters, yes it will, to the Jacks on here (with a few notable exceptions) they already know how next season will work out for both us. Don't need our forum you need ladbrooks

Couldn't agree more - anything can happen. My scenario was set out as a possible one based on my assessment of Tan and the fact that as newly promoted clubs are always favourites for the drop you will have difficulty in recruiting quality. CCFC may prove me wrong (again!) but I just don't see many players of real quality coming to you. That's just the way it is. Your new striker is pretty much an unknown quantity though the signing of Wanyama - who I rate highly - may well be the better of the two imo.

You can dress it up any way you like - the Ince rejection was a massive slap in the face, but the lad acknowledges that he'd be going to a club that will be favourites for the drop and he could find himself back at square one - or worse. Can't blame him really. We had the same problems a couple of seasons back.

Based on what I saw last season you'll need a lot more players in and I just can't see it happening. We've had to make almost a team's worth of new signings just to stay competitive (ie stay where we are) next season.

In answer to your question most of our other signings apart from Bony have impressive records in La Liga and elsewhere so we do know about them. Today's signing of Arsenal's Jernade Meade is an exception. He'll come through the U21's for sure, but we haven't gone for inexperience by and large.

    Wanyama signed for Saints.

Eveyone Swansea couldn't wait to say how bad Ince was. Unproven and over priced were the main points. Now he's a massive slap in the face and a big set back to us. MM's plans have been put back in one position by Ince. Everything else he is doing will be carrying on as planned imo.

We're attempting to sign quality not quantity, dismiss our existing squad all you want but I'd be interested to know how much you've seen of Kim or Mutch. No one has seen Maynard play.

We had it all last summer, Wolves are too strong, Bolton will be untouchable, Blackburn are PL class and spending. We all know how it worked out. Those lot added to teams like yourselves, Norwich, Southampton keep proving THERE IS **** ALL DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE BOTTOM HALF OF THE PL AND THE TOP END OF THE CHAMPIONSHIP .

We might get injuries like Whelan claims did for Wigan last season and if that happens we might go down. Our new striker might bang 15 -20 like Michu and we might be fine.

You talk of signing alot more players, like QPR did with such sucess?

Speaking of wanyama: he actually agreed the personal terms we offered. We obviously have an attractive set-up to attract a player like that. (Note to any Jacks: don't read that as "We are a massive club").

As for the loans from Tan: This has been discussed hundreds of times, I'm not going to explain it again.

Jack in peace here and not wumming. I hope Cardiff does well next season, just not as well as us! <laugh>.

I read somewhere that your championship winning season saw you win most matches 1 nil of 2 nil but there was never a huge amount of goals. Also read that it was won with the least points ever in the championship. That to me says either you were the best of a bad lot or you had a real tough mentality to win a very competitive0 league. Having not really watched much of you last season I'm not sure which it is but best of luck.

Always said Ince was a decent championship player and a good premiership prospect. I did say £8m was too much for him and I also said that you guys dodged a bullet by his not signing.

You can do better than Ince especially for £8m.

I think you may well be right. He was an excellent champioship player though not just decent and Blackpool could well have been in trouble without him.

I said straight away when he rejected us the quality of the replacement would define how big an 'impact' his rejecting us would have.
