Well that was disappointing. ...

We seemed a bit better than last week but still seemed to be going sideways a lot.

I remember we started slowly last year and I was really worried but everything settled down.

I wonder if having so many new players in at once is unsettling as we seemed better once Crouch and Adam came on.

Seen comments like 'powder puff and lightweight" not terms that I associate with Stoke City.

 

I think everything will fall into place in a few games. Ive just been on stoke loud and proud on Facebook and im absolutely amazed how fickle some of the Stoke fans are, yes we were poor but good God I think some people are blowing it all out of proportion. Some very very fickle Stokies out there.

 

Heya lads, Southampton fan here.

Been playing a fantasy footy mini league at work and took a punt at a certain Bojan Krkic. I wanted to know what Stoke fans thought of him after watching him pre-season and the two games so far. How is he doing?

I've heard he is being played in an attacking mid position. How likely do you feel he is to a) score regularly and b)assist regularly?

He is a skillful little player but I'm hoping I haven't jumped onto a player who isn't ready for the Premier League and can't forge an end product. What are your thoughts?

Bojan looks like he could be good but not quite up to speed yet. I think he will score and scored 3 in 3 pre-season friendlies.

Ricc, you're right; all will come good I'm sure. They are just not quite a team yet. I think the pre-season games elevated my expectations somewhat higher than is healthy for a Stoke fan.

That's good and bad news for me. Until he gets up to speed I'm probably going to be chasing the lead. He's a brilliant young player but obviously needs a chance to adapt to the league. I made 3 newcomer punts including Bojan and they're all costing me points to start off with.
