Found my receipt from when it was in getting a new indicator stalk a few weeks ago, it's called Fowler Transport Services, there's only my sister's fiance Kev and Norm (the owner) who work there like.

Again, skipped the majority of the thread till I'm with my pals...Worst time to ever stand by the side of hte road:

I've got and old mini - was driving down to Nottingham to get some gunmetal superlite alloys...I was driving along thinking I was the ****, flying past people in mini 'till all of a sudden my back left tire exploded, my car went 45 degrees to the road and I literally thought I was gunna die! I ended up getting it to the side of the road (with the help of a lot of sensible and helpful motorists) and I'm still driving it now!

Si, sorry to hear of your trials and tribulations, lets hope it can be ressucitated cheaply, mine went in for MOT and service yesterday, the list was long and they've still got it for today, gonna be around £450 but no car = no job, good luck for the rest of the year!

Aw you have an old mini, I'm dead jealous! I always wanted one, but some of the prices I'd seen were about £4.5k so about £2k out of budget when I got this car.

Hope you get yours sorted as well, it feels weird how much I take it for granted. Now I have to lug my Ibanez and 100w Marshall amp on the train as I was bringing them back down to Leeds for some recordings tonight for uni work - probably going to spend a small fortune in taxis in Leeds now. Also got half my final year project stuck up here (a practical equivalent of a dissertation).
Kev's just rang, £600/700 to fix it as the AA guy said, but they're going to try and look for a new 1.5dci clio engine in the scrapyards which will be around the £300 mark.
Don't know how long I'm going to be without my car mind.

Ouch with the Marshall and guitar on the train, I've been using a Behringer Modelling Combo, only 15w but can set a base sound then use Boss ME50 FX board and an additional Danelectro Chorus for all sorts of weird and wonderful noise, if I want it really loud I have a Carlsboro PA that I can use to slave the sound through, now I think about it I need a Transit as there's 5 guitars as well, anyway fingers crossed for you and getting back on the road cheaply and ASAP.
