Yes well done Wimbeldon back where you belong catching up the franchise filth and best of all breaking the hearts of the scummers...whay joy!
Leo - you beat me to it!! WELL DONE THE WOMBLES - L**** do not deserve to be in the league - you have to win promotion fair and square...... I wonder if L**** will hve a viable budget next year or another year of "fantasy money"? I look forward to going to see the Wombles in pre season.
The children and I are so happy that Wimbledon have won, we're off to the park in Bushey to recreate that moment!!! LOL
Popped over to share this magnificent historic moment with Leo who I know to be as nuts about fans club AFC as I am. Am so ecstatic that I completely forgot your contempt for their opponents, so it's a win-win for the Watford board. Big day for football fans everywhere barring a town on the M1.
You are right about contempt for L*t*n but I am really really pleased for the true Wimbledon and for all the fans there who lost their club - it is sooooo good to have them in the league and it will be even better when they play / overtake MK Dons
Err not quite "Phoenix from the Flames"!!!! I'm not old enough to have seen Iain St John at Liverpool, although I do remember the awe as I watched Keegan and Toshack! A memorable day for the Wombles, I look forward to seeing them on Sat 23rd July! I expect it to be a quiet pre-season friendly (err possibly not!)
And there is more ..... the saddos that we (my son and I) are, had BBC London on in one room and BBC 3CR on in another, so that we could get the happy/sad extremes. All I had to do was motion slightly to the left and I could hear the tears, move to the right and joy .......! By the way if anyone wants a CD of the commentary (either or both versions) I will be selling them at the knockdown price of ã2.99 + booking fee + post, packing and insurance!!!!!! LOL LOL LOL ........ Not that I'm at all anti L**** - after all I've only been on page 3 (of the Watford Observer) once and its purely down to them!!!! LOL
The BBC 606 is full of support for Wimbledon. The York fans seem particularly pleased with the result! An Oxford fan syas it is York's turn next. It seems our friends up the road have not endeared themselves to their fellow league members. That is understandable, I suppose. After all they are a big club and founder members of the Premier League ( but got relegated before they had a chance to play in it.)
What does a luton fan do after seeing his team win the conference ? He turns off his playstation and gets into bed with his sister.
