Hard fourght draw tonight guys. Congratulations and good luck for the next round. I think you'll need VDV and Bale to be fitter as I thought you were pedestrian tonight, played too many long balls to Crouch and basically were dominated by Milan for long periods of the game.
Thanks. Not the sort of game anyone expected from us!! Milan were much better with the ball but our defence didn't allow them alot of clear cut chances. A bit backs to the wall without becoming desperate (except when Gomes has a mental moment!!! ) If we had played tonights performance away, it would have been hailed as a masterclass in European football!!!
Well done Spurs though it was squeaky bum time last night. What the hell was Gomes thinking but great covering play by Gallas. To be fair Milan were very good and at least they didn't resort to the same tactics they employed in Italy. I honestly think you will need to improve to progress but at least Bale's getting fit again but you've got to stop those long balls to Crouch: 1. It isn't working and 2. It isn't Spurs. Bodes very well, I really hope we do not draw an English team. I'm enjoying this and I would LOVE to draw Barcelona. I think we would probably suffer but, whats the point of being in the competition if you don't want to see the best teams in Europe at your ground?
Don't get me wrong Luke, I agree, the best chance for us to actually win it is to avoid Barca, but I want to see that great team play at the lane!!
