A good performance topped off with some very good finishing.

Meanhwile, we have big big problems and I can see us getting heavily beaten by City at the Weekend.

I think we will come back but things look pretty dire right now. A bad Week.

Coleen is a slapper, she wears a wonder bra. When she's shagging Rooney, she thinks of Demba BA

Cheers. We were the better team but you'll be more than fine. Need a strong midfielder though.

As predicted, we fold like a wet playing card against a team whose main strength is in the middle of the park. Why oh why do our wingers go "Oh, we're getting beaten in the middle of the park. Reckon I'll go help out" instead of going for the fullbacks. <doh>

Still, great team performance by Newcastle, can't deny you deserved the win. Here's hoping this is as big a kick up the arse as the 6-1 to City...

They need a new centre half as Rio is a crock of ****e and two new central midfielders.

I still think Man U will edge City for the title.

This may also prompt Fergie to bring in reinforcements this month.

But hands off Tiote please lads <cheers>

Well played Barcodes. Outplayed us and scored some quality goals as well.

Yeah well done lads, fully deserved.

Plus, my word, Demba Ba is quite the player, would happily take him off your hands!

You may be right, but as I said after the City match we always seem to have these **** results where we can't do anything right, even when we were at our "peak". The double double winners got dropped 5-0 by Newcastle and 6-3 by Southampton; our treble winners got hammered 3-0 by Arsenal and 5-0 by pre-Roman Chelsea, and the 2008/09 team got done 4-1 by Liverpool then 2-0 by Fulham. Everyone said we were surpassed by City after the 6-1, but we're still here within touching distance of the top.

And even if City do surpass us, that's no guarantee of anything in the long term. Chelsea didn't just surpass us in 2005 they blew us, Arsenal and everyone else way out of the water and looked like they were going to dominate for the next twenty years. Two years later we were back on top and we didn't even have FFP to help us back then.

    It's a funny old game ;)

Fergie, in his ageing and senile state, must have forgot to send him a Christmas card with the usual £10k gift voucher on women's lingerie in December.
