Were Boro and Blackpool really underpar or was it the fact that we made sure they couldnt play. Its hard to believe that Blackpool have previously destroyed us 5-0 and we didnt manage a single shot. Was that down to the Magic of Holloway ( I guess Spanish would agree with this) the failures of Jewell or a freak result? I was expecting a lot more from both opposing teams but either way its the results that we need currently and so you cant complain. The scumbag took his goal well and showed what we have been expecting since he signed. On the footballing side of things is he just another Torres? Whenever he scores you expect the 'old player' to re emerge but its often a one off performance. Hopefully he can recapture his form til the end of the season and then we can punt him! Personally I couldnt name a man of the match as I thought most players done well but nobody sparkled. I guess some people did genuinly see Hyam as the best player and I assume that those that thought it was between 3 or 4 players are always likely to go with the local lad as a deciding point. Personally Im not a fan of Hyam and NDaw being the future of our midfield, especially as Stearman doesnt seem to venture past the half way line but results are the main aspect currently and more often then not we are grinding out the right results.
Just got my tickets me, my Brother and his lad. Never been to Huddersfield before (the town or ground) any tips?
