In modern usage Haps, that would be better written as Scots **** or Scottish ****. Unless you intend to eat or drink it, such as scotch egg, scotch broth or scotch whisky. In which case, carry on.
Excellent !! his dedication is fantasic an example to anybody. He plays hours upon hours a week at times and NEVER moans that he's tired and needs a sleep with his little teddy ( Aw bless our poor little tired football players having to work 80/90 hours a YEAR ) Defo the best British sportsperson of this era. I would, ordinarily agree with you, because, you're correct. However, being called "Scotch" annoys them. Winds them up something rotten in fact. So, I'll carry on using it.
