Due to increased activity and registrations, I thought it would be good to welcome our new members and just reiterate a few things to keep harmony on this board. The senior members of this board, will know I have put in a lot of time and voluntary effort over the last couple of seasons to build the board up to what it is today, from originally having only one other member to now 207 members, I hasten to add that those are sole Gillingham fan accounts, excluding guests and other club members. So please take your time to read the few points below as I have no intention of allowing anyone to disrupt our board or membership. 1. Self moderation is the aim of the site. 2. No swearing, we have members of all ages that use the Gills board. 3. No porn. 4. No content from GC (General Chat). 5. No abuse. If you disagree with an opinion, respond freely with your alternative views and without the need for insults. 6. Any deliberate attempt at disruption of this board will be removed. I am also paying particular attention to any possible multi accounts used for any such purpose. 7. Spammers will receive a straight outright ban to protect our members without explanation. No surveymonkey's - fed up with them. 8. If you make a claim to information a source/link to that information should be provided. However, newbies should not post links, the site will automatically filter your content into moderation. Recently I have had to ban a total of four accounts from this board alone. This does not include any known current Gills members. People are allowed to post freely but that is done with due consideration and respect of others and generally should be Gills related.
