It was good to see a number of players coming back from injury today in the game against Gateshead, which ended 1-1.
Santon played an hour, Jonas the full game and also run outs for Curtis Good and Remy Streete. These should bolster our squad numbers in the coming weeks ( will be needed if Ashley is refusing to recruit in January )
Jonas appeared to be much sharper than his previous outing.

I can see Santon being 'like a new signing'.

DAVIDE Santon suffered a “minor knock” on his return from injury today.

The defender, sidelined since late last season, played almost an hour of a 1-1 draw against Gateshead.

Great news to see these guys on the road back especially Jonas and Santon. Hopefully Santon back in the first team will mean that Dummet get to play CB more. I for one would love to see a revitalised Jonas x

Santon would be good news. Better at full back than Haidara, better on the wing than Gouf.

I'd actually try Santon as an out and out winger with Dummet at LB.

I'd go for Santon LB with Jonas on LW, allowing them to switch throughout the game as per Jonas and Enrique.

To be fair to Gouffran he put in a decent shift at Everton, he looks like he's been asked to play in a certain way for the last season which means we don't see the side of him that we saw when he first signed for us.
