People may not rate him, but I think he's fantastic! Listening to the CC SF game, so only getting text updates but sounds like he took his goal well. Something similar to his goal vs Chelsea 5 or 6 years ago. Very glad he's back in the team.
Very good control, ignored Baines fouling him and then misdirected Howard, despite the attentions of several defenders. Slightly crap shot, to be honest, but the keeper was sold the other side.
I wrote him off at the start of the season which tends to be a prerequisite for a player having a great season. He's not been getting involved enough for my liking today but he did very well to get his goal. Long live Azza
I think that we look far better with Lennon in the side. He adds extra pace and trickery, but most importantly, he stretches the play and forces the other side to keep players wide or leave them exposed to him running at them at full whack. He often creates space in the middle simply by being out wide.
Thank god he can play football!...he really is a bit of a bungalow!
I've always rated Aaron since he joined us,love watching him & gareth tearing past oppositions Defenders
Yep, great to have Lennon back, and Daws. Just like old times, they go back to the Jol era. I think they cost about £3m between them, bargains or what!
And if Samba comes in, I can't see Daws getting very much game time, which will be a shame for such a loyal and committed player. I'm a big fan, I know not everyone is, and I'd like Kaboul and Dawson to be our first choice.
I really hope we don't get Samba. Waste of money. Very good centre back don't get me wrong but he's not an improvement on what we have and shelling out £7m-£10m is just too much and no doubt he'll want big wages. King, Kaboul and Daws are all better in my opinion. Gallas has still got it in him but naturally is on the decline and Seb is by no means a bad player. Centre back is not a position we need strengthening in, especially with Caulker back next season. Back on topic with Lennon, he seems to go through very good and then anonymous patches, thankfully he's in his very good patch this season. When on form, he's unplayable and in my eyes without a doubt the best English right winger. Hope he keeps it up
2nd goal was brilliant - glad I was there to see it All his corners last night were poor. I thought Jake had a really good game - my man of the match.
Sounds bad but I kind of hope no Spurs player gets selected for England, we get so many injuries from internationals it's crazy. By a mile.
