So what are your plans for the weekend? Will you take in a game somewhere? Are you working? Will you visit an attraction of some sort? Personally, I am toying with the idea of going to watch Barnet play Accrington Stanley. Either that, or a trip to Ely Cathedral. Whatever happens, I will not watch the bleedin' X Factor! Hope you have a good one!
this weekend will mostly be spent chasing my 16 month old son round the house ... like most weekends really please log in to view this image
18th Birthday party tonight Then tomorrow I've got football coaching in the morning and then I'm going to chill down the park in thr afternoon with my mates probably playing footy and cricket. Sunday i will be sleeping all day
I'm going for a rugby pre-season game which will require a 2 hour coach ride. The game will be followed by a substation pub crawl treating the locals to a few tasteless songs before a 2 hour coach journey to get me home - I think Sunday will mostly be a day of recovery!
Welcome to my world Dick. I've had my two all to myself from 7am till 5pm for the last three days. Thankfully I'm back to work tomorrow on a seven day straight run of shifts... Reckon I'll get more of a break there . Out for a curry (Ruchi by Albany Park train station) with pals on sat evening. No doubt I'll be nursing a nasty dose of ring sting and a hangover when my alarm goes off at 5.30am Sunday morning.
Don't know what I am doing over the weekend yet. Had a nice run out to Herne Bay today. Weather was fantastic, had a fish and chip dinner at lunchtime and an afternoon ice cream. Great day, took my old mum out who has been very ill for past 5 months, so she really enjoyed it. Dropped her off at home around 4.45pm and she was ready for her bed !!
Lovely way to spend a day Rifleman. I'll be seeing my Mum and Dad all next weekend - always look forward to it.
Don't have a mum or dad anymore, would love to spend just one more day with them, everybody who has parents still around, make sure every day with them is special
Amen to that, AllHell. Even when my Mum really hasn't got a clue who I am, it's a privilege to spend time with someone who gave so much to me, moulded me and instilled a sense of values in me that I'll be eternally grateful for. And playing Scrabble with Dad, such a simple pleasure, he still beats me regularly, even at 88 - evzones on a triple word score - goodnight Tewks... I'm very, very lucky.
Worked from 12 - 11 today, tomorrow off, then working 6.30-4 on Sunday and 3-11 on Monday, so can't go to the Sheff Wed game
