Wuby, up at Aintree Charlie Longsdon looks the man to follow in the opener and the ‘lucky last’. Paintball hinted at being a good ‘un in his debut season whilst Hazy Tom is potentially top class. The latter’s hurdling bow is keenly anticipated.

Across the Welsh border people are in for a real treat as the legendary Tataniano returns to the fold. I still harbour very high hopes re this one. Meanwhile, the fact that dear old Pip Hobbs pitches Fingal Bay into Grade 2 company, for his hurdling bow, is most eyecatching as he’s not one ‘to call his geese swans’.

I was half considering a drive up the M6, great card at Aintree.
I'm opposing SBC in the last as a horse I've been looking forward to hurdling is Cinders & Ashes - 5th in the Cheltenham bumper and over the top at Aintree, I think Ginger has another potential star here.
5/1 is great value IMO, he won't be out the three....

I really like FLINTY BAY in the 440 at Aintree (2m novice handicap chase).
U on debut, been schooled and back out, Nicky Richards trained who had a nice winner last week at Kelso (was there) and is bang in form - should go very close.

Racy in the 2.00 at Doncaster. Still think there's a big handicap win for this horse but he'll have to do it soon because if he keeps placing his mark will keep creeping up <ok>

Wuby - a couple of "general points":

Tim Vaughan is firing in the winners
Nicholls horses looking like they will come on for the run
Evan Williams loves to have winners at the Welsh tracks
RVs mate J P Ferguson has one in the 2.05 and one in the 2.35 - the man is on fire and Mark Quinlan rides both

Best of luck mate and have a great day <ok>

Woolcombe Folly (Chepstow) looks a little overpriced at 9/2.
