Media already losing confidence in Leeds as stories starting to appear about players leaving. Koch wanted back in Germany by a few clubs, even Newcastle chasing him. Gnonto wanted back in Italy, Meslier wanted by Chelsea and a couple more prem clubs as well as French and Italian clubs. Get ready for plenty of this unless we start winning….
Pick up any newspaper you like and the media are linking players away from every club, it’s how they sell newspapers. Twatter and Farcebook just make it worse in my opinion because everything just gets rehashed and repeated by every Tom, Dick and Harry. Of course we will sell players, it’s the nature of the game but then we will replace them with players from other clubs and the media will likely have speculated on those transfers too. What I find amazing is, how come so many top clubs are after so many of our players when Rads is nothing but a chancer and Orta is inept
Spot on and highly unlikely many of ours will be going to any top club. It’s fantasy stuff. It’s like when we make a signing we’re told we beat off barca Chelsea and Man City for their signatures and there are actually fans who believe that
Someone come and collect Joffy, please. I'm not even sure he's Championship standard. Try him with Fleetwood or summit.
I've watched him a bit since he went to you lot. Playing him as a lone striker really doesn't work with him. He's much better playing in those slightly deeper roles. But yeah, I agree with you, he is struggling as a 9 for you guys. He doesn't exactly provide a focal point up top. I think your recruitment guy needs to explain his thinking going for him.
Gonna watch West Ham v Villa. Never can tell what you'll get with Villa so any result is possible but hopefully they turn up for this one.
With our rivals all picking up points maybe it's time for some perspective. This season; Jesse 0.9 PPG Javi 1.33 PPG Fat Fwank 0.75 PPG Dyche 1.43 PPG So Dyche has worked wonders at Everton to turn their season around but so far Javi is nearly matching him. We can do this guys, just keep the faith and we'll just about sneak out of it
In the cold light of day and feeling a little more optimistic, yesterday was a decent point against a good and in form team, a team we usually lose to. The kick in the teeth was the teams around us picking up points and the Bournemouth result really hurting us. Looking at the table, everyone up to and including Palace are still in trouble so will play with nerves. If we can somehow grind out a couple of wins we could still stay up. As for players moving on I actually don’t care who we sell, it’s clear that they are not good enough to get us comfortably mid table.
