Problem with Twitter Ristac is it’s full of useful tweeters like Fabrizio and the likes of that clown with the two followers last night. Thing is Leeds have such a huge following his tweet got dozens of replies and all sorts of nonsensical conspiracy theories. Not saying true or false but a prime example of a non story growing almost out of control in minutes. Some reporter or website will likely report it as fact shortly

Looks like Dysche will be going in at Everton and most pundits, fans etc think he will have a decent chance of saving them and even Leeds fans think that as well.

However whilst he's considered a good fit for them the prospect of having Dysche at Leeds is still laughed out of town and considered ridiculous. Apparently they have crap players as well, but that doesn't matter as they will be better organised and will now played to a system that should yield results.

So when we did we as Leeds fans become so precious that winning football matches is considered not good enough on it's own ?

Of course with our recent signings we should still easily finish above Everton but it will be a monumental error and somewhat humiliating if we don't.

Not sure how Dyche sorts out dressing room because he had problems at Burnley with big fall outs and a couple of those players are now at Everton. His a nasty vile twot and anyone remember the way he treated Bamford was there on loan? Everton had their own internal problems and players wanting out and now Dyche stirs the pot with Tarkowski etc

    Jamster on the defensive.<laugh>

can’t speak for others - my view dyche will play his two banks of 4 and lump long balls as per his masterclass. Everton have the players to do potentially do that with some success. We don’t in my view. Good fit for them at this time. Not us.

They don’t have terrible players. He may save them. Doesn’t mean he’d do the same for us.

Not sure why our squad doesn't suit being better organised, more solid defensively and pacy on the counter attack.

See Eddie Howe at Newcastle for how teams that aren't wide open at the back can gate crash the Top 4.

We became precious about our style of football when some lad introduced us to that stupid Bielsaball thing. Since that unless we score as a result of 20 passes or more it’s deemed to be hoofball and not worth watching. Don’t get it myself, a wins a win

Seems now it was Juve not Leeds that moved the goalposts, trying to get more wedge for him.

Appreciate you see this one different jamster. My take is we have defenders bought for attacking qualities who aren’t great at defending. We aren’t overladen with midfielders with a defensive mindset. We have no target man.

I’m not saying our squad wouldn’t benefit from some defensive organisation or couldn’t play a different system. I just don’t see us playing dycheball effectively.

No idea what would have happened if we'd appointed someone different to Jesse last season. Bottom line is he got the job done and even though it was by the skin of his teeth he deserves much credit for doing so.

This season we're underachieving and are well below where we should be. In my opinion if we'd had Dysche before a ball was kicked we'd now be sitting comfortabley around 10th and looking upwards. Fulham and Brentford are showing that with good organistion and method you don't need super star players to be a mid table PL club.

Jesse's neck is now firmly on the line and knowing how the ER faithfull always need a scapegoat we could soon be hearing ' Marsche out ' coming from the terraces.

After sitting on his arse for a year the option of getting Dysche in has now gone, hopefully we don't regret it.

Underachieving points maybe but not underachieving performances in my view.

I recall in the summer when we’d sold our two best players and bought a bunch of unknowns and Jesse Old boys from lesser leagues, how panic stricken we were. We were on everyone’s relegation shortlist.

Now apparently it’s a great squad and midtable is the worst we should expect with it. How perspectives change.

17th was my prediction and we're just about on track.

That was with Jesse and his system remember.

Been a very frustrating season so far, we could easily be 6 points better off.

So had we sold our two best players and signed a bunch of largely unknowns… and then hired dyche you’d have predicted midtable?

The point Jammy was we used to talk about how bielsa made players better but that in reality it was the system that helped them shine. Maybe for all the negativity about it, our system - that gives overloads in transition creates gaps in opposing defences - makes players like Rodrigo suddenly look world class. Perhaps the ‘chaos’ gives attacking players opportunities to look good and makes us think players are better than they are. Not saying I agree with that statement, but it’s funny how this bunch of misfits are now considered an elite squad being held back by their manager.
