With all these transfers, change in loyalties and 2 new strikers coming in which will represent the whole of our strike force - how do you think we'll cope on Wednesday? The team must be devastated by the betrayal of nando. If they aren't devastated then they aren't true Liverpool supporters which they should be if they're players. We have 2 new strikers which surely we have to play when they're both fit considering how much they both cost. So... with that in mind what do you think the atmosphere will be like on Wednesday, and how well do you think we'll play? If you want to throw a formation in, then do so as well . I think Carroll is still injured though, so I doubt he'll play on wednesday.
----------------------------Reina-------------------- Johnson------Carragher------Agger-------Kelly ------------------Lucas-----Meireles------------- ------------------------Gerrard------------------ ----------Kuyt--------Suarez----------Cole-- I think we will have the usual formation as Caroll is still injured. I think Cole may be preferred over maxi on Wednesday, i think he has the edge a little. Maxi was brought in from Athletico to accommodate Torres and now I think he will be used in rotation with Cole as a part player. Please note when Caroll is back he will be in the centre and Suarez will move out on the left.
I personally think this formation should be used... with Andy coming in for Kuyt when he's fit. -----------------------Reina----------------------- ------Kelly-----Skrtel-----Agger-----Johnson--- ----------Gerrard---Lucas---Maxi---------------- --------------------Meireles----------------------- ---------------Suarez-----Kuyt------------------- 4-3-1-2. If we still manage to secure Warnock on loan soon, then I'd put Johnson on the right wing and try a 4-4-2 diamond.
i dont feel the 442 will accommodate our captain Gerrard in midfield so I don't think a 442 will get the best out of the team.
442 is outdated now, I don't think it will ever work for us again, we still have no natural widemen. Suarez plays his best as a striker, not a winger. Perhaps when players like Sterling come through we will resort back to a 4-4-2, although even then I think it'd be a diamond formation.
