Had a good look at the Hexham card today and was surprised to see Cumbrian trainer, Nicky Richards, has only one runner there today. This is in the (17:45), a Class-4 Handicap Hurdle over 2m,4f, on the forecast good/good-to-soft ground. I was also a bit 'perplexed' (if that's the right word) by the 'best price' on offer at the moment for the Mastercraftsman gelding (Damsire: Rainbow Quest), Kajaki, who certainly has the form to run a decent race.
