yes,i like him too,but he usually runs over a bit shorter,so thats my doubt.i ll take two out of the race, and these are DOTTIES DILEMMA and mr mafia.the latter had a tremendous summer so far, albeit over hurdles, but hes 10 lbr better off over fences,so deserves respect.but peter bowens 10 year old has had a relatively light season, and though on a career high mark today, can back up his cartmel win today.the good thing is,he never wins by far,so its hard for the assessor to judge him..big e w shout..
wow, what a start!! southwell,2 50: well,if beat that is in the same form as when scoring easily last time out at newton abbot,he ll be hard to beat, but dont underestimate the very useful ex-hurdler JACK LAST HOPE.he has already shown an aptitude for chasing, and should give the fav a race for his money..
thx a lot, denny! southwell,3 20: motueka and play the ace both had tough tasks last time out, giving weight to above average rivals(motueka in particular),and both will find this a bit easier today, but i take a chance on the fitness of the long-absent ROCKPORTIAN,who showed enough ability before his break, especially in his bumper win first time out,and if all is well, has to be considered here..
southwell,4 20: there is probably not much between EXITAS and chieftains choice on their last clash, but the former is undeniably well treated over hurdles,as hes a good bit lower than over fences.he won as recent as last autumn a valuable listed chase, and posted a solid effort last time out.so,decent chance to go one better today..
southwell,5 20 not easy, with no form to go on,but i think,KILDOON LUCILLE may be up to winning this,as her small yard invariably does well here, and the booking of richard johnson catches the eye..
ffos las,6 00: very hard to assess these 2 year olds, but although its rather a shot in the dark,i back WINTERKOENIGIN e w,to improve markedly on her debut.well, she didnt show much there, true, but it could turn out to be quite a hot maiden then, with the first two franking the form with big efforts in much better races, and she wasnt beaten that far that day.so,surely not without a chance..
made up a lot of ground in the straight,so definite improvement there..watch out for her next time out..
