5.45 Kempton Librisa Breeze A word of caution here that i don't think i have ever picked a winner on the all weather at Kempton in my life but here goes Again i'm following Ryan Moore but this newcomer is well bred with his dam being a half sister to Baraan who came third in the French Derby a few years ago after being about 20 lengths behind the rest at one stage. Jeremy Noseda has already had two winners in the last couple of days with similar horses and with Ryan Moore on board. This looks a fairly warm maiden but i'm going to chance that this one is good enough to win on debut, anything like Baraan (who incidentally was a strong arc fancy of mine before being ruled out) and he could be a decent horse

I've backed Arsenal to win with Big Fella Thanks in a double. Big Fella Thanks although 13 ran 2nd in a group 3 last time out so should have far too much class today. double pays 6/4
Morning, troops. Hope everyone well. Nothing for me today. I see though that Lady Cecil is set to have her first ever runner over jumps on Sunday at Huntingdon. The old girl has got Perfect Summer, what a lovely name for a mare by the way, entered in 2 races at the course. Meanwhile, here’s a question for the great brains on the forum. What’s Mr Henderson up to with old boy Hurricane Higgins?!? He hasn’t set foot on a racecourse since the 2012 French St Leger, Hurricane Higgins that is not Mr Henderson, and yet on Saturday is set to run in an exceptionally strong looking Class 2 Conditions heat at Lingfield Park. Pilgrims, are we close to witness the training performance of our lives?!? Good luck to those who are wagering.
Morning all, I'm taking a chance on Legion D'Honneur in the 2:40 @ Wincanton.I've taken 10/1. Good luck all.Happy Betting.
I've noticed that when Aiden Coleman throws a leg over Terraco, it runs a hell of a race. With someone else in the saddle, it's last couple of runs have been awful, being pulled up on both occasions. With the chief pilot back on board, he may surprise a few today. Best odds at the moment. 8-1. Bangor. 15:55. Terraco.
15:40 Wincanton - Alto Des Mottes (This one must surely run a good race in this event? Have taken the 2/1 currently available in a few places).
No horses for me today, as I haven't been doing great on them this last week. It may be the soft ground, or the fact I'm out of practise. I'm gonna save my ammo for Cheltenham though. I am going to have a punt on the football though, as I view it as a fairly safe bet. I've had a fairly big bet for me on Atletico Madrid tonight in the draw no bet market at 1.8 against Leverkusen. Leverkusen really are ****e, even David Moyes managed to mastermind a 5-1 away win for us there last season. They where also hammered 6-1 on aggregate at the same stage last season by PSG, including a 4-0 defeat at home, and apart from Bayern the German league is poor. Atletico on the other hand are a team that competes with and beats the big 2 in Spain, even winning the title last year. They have lost a few players since, but they've replaced them well and are well involved in the title race, and they beat Real 4-0 only a few weeks ago. So I really feel 1.8 draw no bet is a great bet, even the outright 90 mins market price at 2.6 is a decent bet aswell. Though I'm playing the more conservative draw no bet market, as I would worry that Atletico may be happy to settle for a draw knowing they have the 2nd leg to come at home
You're quite right KS, the Bundesliga is all about one club, Bayern. They had not got over the Christmas hols when trounced recently by Wolfsburg, who, I must say, have some pretty decent players. In the Champions League, I have to say Bayern are the ones to beat IMO?
Whilst Barcelona's display last night has ruffled a few feathers in the outright market, I still feel Real Madrid are the team to be with. There team is just the perfect combination of pace and power, and they will be suited to playing knockout football against Barca or Bayern. Bayern couldn't handle the pace of Ronaldo and Bale on the break last season, and I could see a similar story unfolding again if they meet. Bayern play such a high pressing game under Guardiola, so they rely on being able to smother teams, much like Barcelona do. The problem they had last season against Real is that they weren't able to smother them, as Real have the quality in defence and midfield to play the ball out, so Real where able to exploit the high defensive line that Bayern play. So they end up relying on there defence winning a foot race with Ronaldo or Bale. I feel Guardiolas brand of football already has and will prove detrimental to Bayerns chances, of taking advantage of a golden era of players. Bernd Schuster the previous fella had the tactics spot on, playing football the German way. These tactics of holding the ball in the oppositions half with 80% possession but doing very little with it, just leave the team exposed to quality on the counter. They will get away with it against poorer teams, but against Real they won't
