We really are pathetic

N'zogbia is off to Villa and it looks like Taylor is staying at Swansea which makes it the 5th player so far that we have failed to sign, i cant remember what its like to have an owner in charge who actuelly invests in the club correctly and doesnt lie to our faces when they say they will invest money into the club, i really do hate the fact that we could be playing for europe next season or even for a cup but now its looks like we will just be settling for mid table for the next 5 seasons untill ashley can make the club worth selling. oh well, better than the championship i suppose.

 

I never wanted N'zogbia and if Taylor wants to stay at Swansea then what the **** are we supposed to do about that

 

This. Zog is an arrogant little **** and Naylor is probably another Perch. We need investment, but good investment.

 

dig out the thread where it puts it all into perspective(the one where it shows who's bought who) and you'll see we've somewhere like 2nd or 3rd for most players bought,we have signed 4 players and there is plenty of time to go don't panic yet

 

1 taylor wanted to come here but swansea refused to honour the contract

2 we need a right winger becuase barton isnt a winger

 

It's not really the fact that we've missed out on N'Zogbia that's bothering me , it's that the board seems unwilling to spend any money on quality players. They're trying to deceive everyone by offering derisory offers to players of other clubs (4m for Zog?) and then telling the supporters that they tried their best but it didn't work out.

I hope they can prove me wrong by signing a decent striker and AM.

Reports in the North East suggest that Newcastle have made no bid for Wigan’s Charles N’Zogbia, while the pursuit of Swansea’s Neil Taylor seems to be over.

 

Up until a couple of weeks ago everyone was over the moon with the new additions to the squad, there's still plenty of time to go in the transfer window, and with the way some clubs are throwing around cash like it's going out of fashion I can only assume it's quite difficult to get everyone you want ..

At the end of the day who have we missed out on:

1. Neil Tayor at Swansea - shame but that's down to his agent apparently and a misunderstanding of the contract he had. Not Pardew's fault and not Ashleys fault.
2. Erdinc - made a fair offer for him at £7Million, but he's said he doesn;t want to leave PSG - not Pardews fault and not Ashleys fault.
3. N'Zogbia - can't even really comment on this as I've no idea what's gone on to make him plump for another team, until we know we can't really blame Pardew or Ashley
4. ? you'll have to help me out here
5. ? you'll have to help me out here as well

Gettng a bit fed up of the club bashing because we're not seeing a signing every day ..

We've got 35m and we've spent **** all of it.

Can you really blame us for being slightly pissed off at the club?

 

1. Some stories suggest Naylor wants to stay at Swansea.

2. Jonas or HBA can play right wing if a winger is what we need, and Barton was our best player there last season.

exactly, they said they would invest the full 35m and then slowly made up excuses of why itr wont be going into transfers and then to finish it off we are only going to get in 2 more players and according to DL we have spent the whole 35m already

 

I think the only reason we haven't actually made a move for Zog is that we haven't signed another striker yet. That is the priority, until it happens we wont any big money signings IMO.

On Taylor it would have been a risk signing him. However, the club was prepared to take that risk due to what they thought was a £1 million buyout clause. Anything more than that would have been stupid because like Gogledd said he could have ended up like Perch.

Overall, keep positive as there is plenty of time left in the window.

 

yeah, best player becuase we didnt have any RW, HBA is our second stiker and Jonas will be playing at LW becuase Marveaux will probably be injured for most of the season

 

1) Taylors about to sign a new contract at Swansea so he clearly does want to stay. Also there was no contract saying they had to except a £1mil bid

2)Ben Arfa, Marveaux, Jonas, Fergie are all wingers. It's not too hard to swap over onto the other wing and why are people so unhappy with Barton on the right. He was great there last year, and how many times have we actually seen him in the center in the second half of last season
