And we have hope. Ashley has made mistakes. Oh and he’s going to make it better. Bruce is here to save the day. We are the THE laughing stock of premiership football.
This is probably one of our best pre-seasons ever. We have actually won a game. Reckon we are on for a top 10 finish.
If we’d humped them 10-0 everyone would have said the same thing. It’s pre-season yada yada yada. Means nowt in my book, building up fitness and game time is what’s needed as well as letting new signings work with our current players.
I doubt that Stop hiding behind excuses the performance was poor. All over the place like mclarens side
The performance was turd . I dont know what people are expecting !!! Weve got a weaker side and management team
We lost 1-6 to Leyton Orient in 2010, then smashed the championship apart straight after that. Pre season friendlies are for experimentation and gently introducing new signings, no one cares about this result, or whatever stupid mickey mouse 4 team competition we involved in this season. There looked to be positives from the PNE game anyway, as Joelinton seemed to look instantly capable.
It's a balance. Of course it's positive to win games in pre season and build that momentum, but there's no direct correlation between a successful pre season and successful Premiership campaign. If the team looked horribly disjointed, massively unfit and without any desire, then I'd be worried. I didn't see that. We weren't unbelievable but we seem to be building our fitness nicely and have some positives in there. Still a long way to go until I begin to feel positive about our Premiership campaign though..
