Without meaning to be rude to PL it's a free country and speculation is (largely) harmless. I think what has annoyed him is the speculation when people are making stuff up and passing it round like facts ie the "bust up" the "he's had a falling out over his budget" and all of that. I don't think personally PL has a problem with people generally discussing things as long as it stays sensible.

At the end of the day if he'd said what he's said before now none of it would have happened simple as that. He's in the spotlight, his comments are in the spotlight I know he doesn't like the press but that's how it works at the end of the day if you don't want the speculation etc then don't leave room for it.

I don't think anyone was expecting a contract in blood but simply what he's said there said a few weeks back might have saved the NHS a fair bit of money <laugh>

There's no harm in debating purely hypothetical questions. For example, we might debate whether, if, hypothetically, PL wasn't happy at City and intent on overseeing the next stage of the Canaries' Premier League journey, would the Aston Villa job be likely to appeal to him? But that's very different from speculation, contrary to all reasonable evidence, about his possible immediate departure from Norwich. The latter is what riles him, and rightly so. Yes, football breeds cynicism, but we seem to have got to a situation where people are incapable of asking themselves whether, in a specific case, cynicism is justified or not!

It's simple really, and can be summed up in one word: trust. Speaking for myself, ILIT. And when the time comes that he feels the time is right to move on, I've no doubt it will be right for NCFC too.
