In my opinion. I left after the 2nd goal, I can't ever remember leaving early before. Too pissed off to even have the usual few beers after the game. Weekend ruined, totally depressed with football. Torquay could have gone down today if they lost and other results went against them so what did they do,,,,,dug deep and got a result. When are the bunch of ****ers coaching and playing for our club going to realise we are in the **** and get their heads down and ****ing do something about it. Suppose it's too ****ing late now.
Thank **** I work on a Saturday luckily I can only go every 5/6 weeks got a ticket for Rochdale game but I don't think I will be going. Yes I think we've had it this season. Can't see us getting a single point from our last four games if we can beat a team that are all but down then theirs no hope for the rest of the season. Forest Green here we come.
I was fortunate that I couldn't go today, but was hit with a huge shock when I saw the result. Six pointers will not be our salvation this season IMO. Looks as though the final two will between Torquay, Wycombe, Morecambe and the Gas. ITS BL**DY PAINFUL!!!!
We had better hope Wycombe are worse than us. It all comes down to us vs Wycombe, and somehow I don't feel too confident about it
come on the gas, we are hoping you are keeping a place warm for us. we are in deep doo doo as well. time to stiffen the sinews not throw in the towel. we are down? bollocks i say. AJ says this is bollocks!
the next set of games is very crucial. friday - wycombe vs northampton whatever the outcome of this game, we still wont be bottom 2. we then play on the saturday away at pompey. lose that and we still wont be bottom 2. it does look like it could be down to the wycombe vs rovers game. the fact that we are away doesnt look great for us. i am now really worried.
personally i hope both gas and wobblers stay up. exeter are the suprise package down there. they were in top 6 in the autumn. the wurzels are playing there on may 2nd. perhaps too late
I love hoe this ****er has vanished from our board. Giving it the big un when we were in the relegation zone and Shrewsbury were outside of it Never mind Jack, you MIGHT be able to play a Bristol team next year.... MIGHT! They have to stay up first
I think we should really get behind the team for the last few games. We know they're c**p and will probably go down. But at least if we're positive they might get a bit of confidence back and get a result or two. The Mem's an intimidating place for the home team when thing's aren't going well and we can really make a difference for the last couple of home games.
Morecambe are in freefall. Even though they got a point today they only had about 30% of the possession. We probably are relying on other teams a bit and Morecambe are playing Scunny next...
pos.. team................ pts... next opponent 18.... hartlepool........ 49.... away to 5th placed burton 19.... morecambe...... 49.... home to 1st placed scunthorpe 20.... exeter.............. 48.... away to 3rd placed chesterfield 21.... rovers.............. 47.... away to 16th placed portsmouth 22.... wycombe......... 46.... home to 23rd placed northampton 23.... northampton... 46.... away to 22nd placed wycombe 24.... torquay........... 39.... home to 12th placed dag & red my predictions: hartlepool, morecambe and exeter will lose as all facing teams challenging for automatic promotion. rovers draw. 2500 gasheads being there and the players have to come back fighting after today. think we will get a point. wycombe/northampton, i think northampton will win this. torquay will draw. dag & red has nothing to play for but torquay was poor today however todays win will give them confidence to be able to get a point. table next weekend i predict will look like this. 18.... hartlepool....... 49 19.... morecambe..... 49 20.... northampton... 49 21.... exeter............. 48 22.... rovers............. 48 ---------------------------------- 23.... wycombe........ 46 24.... torquay........... 40
Didn't really want to comment on this thread sorry. Have you ever been to Portsmouth? Trust me it's a noisy ground and even with 2.5k there you will have to go some just to outdo that bastard bell.
pompey is 1 ground i havent been to. however i have seen them on tv when they were in the prem and that bell did my head in then! but i do know what over 1000 gasheads sound like away so my money is with the travelling 2500 gasheads. however the team needs to give our fans a reason to cheer as at the moment all the effort our fans are putting in we havent seen anything in return. our fans will stick with our club but we just want to see effort and fight and passion win draw or lose. if we are losing 2-0 and we are showing passion and fight our fans will give everything like we usually do. if the players cant be assed then thats when our fans go quiet and sometimes turn nasty.
a point each may serve both gas and wobblers well .good luck , must go in case that shiitty shiny arsed lad shouts again. how is chrisgashead, not been stirring our boards lately, indeed no bugger has.
