Why is it us QPR fans always have to suffer. Other teams get promoted, get a so called good manager in, and have some fun in the premier league and good cup runs. We end up being the worse team in the league at the moment after spending more money than we ever have. Hughes has been here 9 months and said he was looking forward to a good pre season and buying in some quality players.

I went to the game tonight and couldn't believe Hoilett and Taarabat was on the bench while Park and Wright Phillips were in the team. Park was hustled off the ball on numerous occasions and wright Phillips has improved but still nothing like he use to be. Onuoha always look uninterested even when the opposing team scores, and Cisse is nothing like last season. Cesar has inherited Green's nerves. When Diakite was booked I knew he would get a second, why not take him off?

West ham seemed more up for it in the first half and had more ideas. I thought Hughes had major training to get the players fit but we looked knackered at times and clueless.

I always thought we needed another top striker and central defender before the window closed.

We must be odds on for relegation with the bookies at the moment, even if its early days.

    SORT IT OUT HUGHES QUICKLY.

I completely agree with your comments - unfortunately Diakite already was one of our super-subs. At 2-0 down, in my opinion Hughes should have reacted quickly to the situation and brought on Taarabt, Hoilett & Mackie, because the rest of the gang were so obviously not getting the job done. What was he waiting for? Was he afraid of conceding a 3rd goal? I watched the game live on TV, Mbia seemed invisible.

Taarabt was quality though, wasn't he? It always felt like he was going to conjure something everytime he had the ball in the final third, but that there wasn't anyone in a hooped shirt around him capable of reading him and with sufficient quality of their own to assist. You have to go back to Routledge and Mackie in the Championship to find two players on his wavelength there.

As much as Zamora has worked tirelessly, I have to say that he's not been as effective as a fit Helgusson. Zamora hold the ball up well, but he is no aerial threat.
