    It was - there didn't appear to be anyone offside - and the ref never consulted his linesman.

    And now we've just been denied a penalty...

    I am still trying to work out how that could have been offside. The keeper and defender were both nearer the goal line than any Watford player. Unless the camera angle was making this wrong, it was a howler.

    Cannot believe Liverpool win 9/0 and Salah got nothing FF wise .

    A frustrating afternoon .

    Played ok in patches but we were awful defensively!

    VAR would have been busy today .

    Both full backs were poor and Kabasele certainly wasn’t a leader .

    Pedro best player again - I hope he was just injured rather than anything else when storming off straight at full time .

    Pulled Ken back into that LB role he so relishes, Kamara swapped sides, and Joao then played on the left. Very strange and didn’t work.
