Not a great game for the officials as apparently our 1st should have been disallowed ..

    Not that I am complaining!!

Shocking refereeing. If he could get it wrong, he did. Plays advantage, no advantage gained, doesn’t go back. That happened more than once. He bottled it. Gave easy decisions against defenders. Tells players to hurry leaving the pitch after inordinate amount of time-wasting from Arsenal (which they must now regret), then turns his back on them as they dawdle off. Joke refereeing.

MotM for me was Cleverley. He was outstanding, quickly reigniting attacks that had faded. He kept the pressure on brilliantly. Hughes also superb. And Capoue. And... And... !!

Some deplorable shooting from us today. Something to work on.

Something else to reflect on was both our goals were gifted. Yes they came from pressure, but a proper Arsenal wouldn’t have folded like that.

It was great. Taylor’s performance has robbed me of a voice. My heart had more shocks than is healthy. “He’ll sleep tonight!” I can almost hear my mum saying.

Didn't realise how close Gerry was with that shot across goal. OD should have scored. What I said about Tom C was nothing to do with his goal. I was so excited I don't think I twigged who had scored or listened to the announcement!
He so good. I was wrong to question his inclusion in the starting line-up. Brilliant.
Hats of to Holebas, too. The QSF appointment cannot have been easy for him, but he was consummate professional today. He largely neutralised that side of their attack.
I'm so proud of the team. It wasn't vintage performance across the pitch. But the fight in them was super-impressive.

I will stay up to watch it on MOTD2, but expect the comments will be all about the woeful Arsenal defending. Hope that they give us some credit for having a right go at them. The second half wave after wave of attack reminded me of some of the teams that GT put out, and how we responded then when we had fallen behind. I did notice that by the end Capoue was just about on his knees, but it had been a fantastic performance from him as well as some of the others.

Best game of the season so far and we should have won
Had we played like this for the first 4 games we would be in the top half of the table
Dawson and Kabasele looked good apart from the two Arsenal goals, could be the new CB partnership

Good to see Dawson playing to our expectations finally.. It does show how coaches instructions can really change a players game..

GT was soo good at bringing out the best..

Was driving back from Aberdeenshire so could not join you.
MOTD comments were fair I thought.
Thought Dawson asleep for 2nd Arsenal goal.
Holebas unlucky to get a yellow as he did not react at all to the fisticuffs (which is very impressive for him).
The number of shots we had has been commented on a lot.
    Arsenal defending was really funny.
Should have won it with last chance.
