Seriously? It was that bad? I'm surprised by that to be honest. I thought you'd have agreed with what he said regarding Tan and his behavior. Maybe I've misread it but I had the idea that the Cardiff fans were against Tan. Is that not the case mate?
I think it's a split between the red and the blue half of Cardiff Hoopster !! While we all know something has happened behind closed doors ,only a very small few know exactly what has occurred between Malky and Tan. There is a lot more to come out for sure ..... but from my point of view I'm in Vincent tan's corner for the moment, but then I'm a red ! and a blue every other week
It's never black and white (or red and blue) hoopster. MM might be the more injured party, but he is culpable in what has happened. My personal feelings are mixed on the matter. MM did a good job in getting us promoted last year but his style of play antagonised a lot of posters. He wasted a lot of money in the summer on dubious signings (with one or two before that). However, he also signed some good players on frees or from the bargain bin. In summary, there's no smoke without fire. Saying that, Tan is a real odd ball. Thanks for your contribution. It's good to have some sensible input from other boards.
We're no strangers to controversial owners, cremote mate. Its not that long ago we had a section of the Italian Mafia running the show and making a mockery of us in the process. One season we went through SIX managers! I hope Solskjaer pulls you safe. It'd be a shame to go back down having finally made it up.
My personal opinion of Tan is this.. The guy is pumping money into our club. We sold our heart and soul for the money basically.. I don't like the red, I am blue through and through. Malky had to go though. If we had Ole from the start we would be in a MUCH better position than we are now
Why did we struggle to get out of division one...then more seasons trying to get out of the championship? My heart and soul was always to see Cardiff in the premiership and to move with the times to do this. This is the legacy we can leave for our children and our children's children. Every shirt is a white shirt dyed with colour and to attach a life and death emotion to an article of clothing is not something I would do personally. If you took a Barcelona shirt and it was worn by a useless side no one would want it. It is not the shirt it is the team that wears it that I support, if it is red I support the same team. I still listen to all my music from the sixties, you cannot take the heart and soul out of the times you lived through. For those genuinely sad at the change then I am sorry this is spoiling the best time in our history but I feel it has been used to cause trouble by those that have no interest in wanting the best for my club. jck
So if it's just a shirt then why did Tan change it knowing full well the uproar it would cause? Please don't give me the lucky or overseas sales nonsense.
My sentiments also. As much as I still support and love the club I have supported since a child, I still wish we were in blue. Where was the need in changing the shirt? If it matters not what colour we wear, why was it changed?
So blue can be a lucky colour for you but no one else can have a lucky colour...I am hard pressed to find anything lucky when we wore blue but plenty since we wore red. Buy the club and you can do as you please as I am sure you would. All the people who said they would stop supporting the club if the shirt was changed have not gone anywhere, and to be honest we do not need this constant moaning at this precise time. If you don`t like the red shirt do not watch when they play in red just watch when they play in blue. If changing the colour is breaking your heart god help you in this world. jck
Didn't say I'm breaking my heart JCK, just saying that I hope we'll be wearing blue tonight and not black or some other away strip. I would love us to have stuck with our traditional (though not original) colour but accept that with Tan as owner that is unlikely to be the case. I'll follow Cardiff whatever colour they play in. Doesn't stop me wishing it was blue.
Hmmm. I don't know mate. All I know is you was always known as the Bluebirds and now you play in red.
