    I thought he might have been since it was the only game and his darling Man U side were playing, but probably not, I mean the Coppa Italia final was on, not like he's going to miss that!

    Surely Capello wouldn't put a personal preference ahead of his £6million a year job... and surely if he dared to do it the FA wouldn't let him get away with it... oh.

    Well now you're just talking crazy, but he might have watched Rooney and co for the 100th time to confirm they will be in the next squad regardless of how they play and what they do.

    He wasn't shown on Sky, so he probably wasn't there.

    If he was, Barton and Simmo should definetly be in the next squad.
