I would like to ask if anyone has any updates about our new training facility's to be built at Warren farm?

The last official update was on the 15th of May about getting the green light on our trimmed down planning application.

I know these things take time but it's been a tad quiet of late.

I have given up on us seeing a new stadium at Old Oak but hope the farm project becomes reality!

    No news then I guess.

Perhaps it's on hold, if Old Oak is a no go then the new stadium could be built next to the training facility's...<whistle>

Didn't you get the message? We are now negotiating to get access to the Hogwarts playing fields. Plan B is a spot somewhere in Middle Earth.

The updated planning request was approved, I would think they are probably sorting out who's going to do the building work and all the surveying stuff for ground work etc

The reasons why I posted this thread was I watched a program on with nimbys so thought I'd see if there was any itk info.

The other reason is the forum tends to go quiet after a win as we have less to complain about<laugh>:emoticon-0148-yes:

I just hope we see some bricks and mortar being laid down before Tony runs out of wonga<whistle>

Over a year ago I was talking with a bloke who's company had been retained by the club to do the fencing at Warren Farm. They were told to expect to start in March last year.

Yes, I can't wait for the Tony Fernandes memorial wall either.

Perhaps a talented graffiti artist could do a mural of a training ground?

I was thinking that we always refer to these places (Old Oak and Warren Farm) in quite definite terms despite our collective bemusement at all our plans.

I think I might refer to the training ground as Moon Unit Zappa and the new stadium as Waterworld.

I should imagine the council may be having second thoughts about our ability to actually build the thing, let alone pay the rent. Still, it's a cornerstone of the thirty year plan.
