Now Imagine, its something like Orwells 1984, and BIGGUS CHRISSUS is the main man. the very top man, you only see him on newsflashes, overhead screens, he dictates ,,,,YOU listen, you will attend every Sunderland game even if the lads are ****e,
and if they are ****e they will dissappear. I dont care if you work abroad, its your duty to attend the match, It matters not that it costs you more than you earn, its all about mother Sunderland, your family is mine to do what I want with, you have no freedom of choice, if you do not attend, without valid reason, you will dissapear, my word will be the only word.
well the likes of BIGGUS CHRISSUS are well documented, I suppose he meant well, but he got some things sadly wrong, as I know I have, And will do, unfortunately we are going through a very bad and lean time. money for a lot of folk, has to be used wisely, can the family man justify the money to enter any ground in the uk, or would he rather have a couple of pints with his old mates, things may get better next year, few pints football on the telly, a no brainer, not everyone is fortunate in life, SNQ didnt do himself any favours with the outburst about people in pubs, etc etc, in all fairness he said, it was just to give people a wake up call , to take notice.

Didnt help the folks on low incomes though, or the pensioners, who would love to attend, but due to money worries cant.
Question, why cant we sell the empty seats cheap say ten mins after the game has started, or give them away to various charitys.[ ticketed games, known quantities and all that ] a mediocre player makes more money, in one year than most folk can hope to earn in fifteen years, so no sympathy there, for players that is, he dont have to worry about the big choices in life. EATING or HEATING. he will be ok, till he gets older that is.

this disjointed thread, has happened, because of a mis mash of things , today an older man , much older, told me his dream was to see Sunderland again before he died, he told me of his pension, his departed wife fifteen years ago, lost his best friend, and was alone, EATING or HEATING. The articles he read, being berated for not coming to the SOL, he felt guilty, and as much as I assured him , that it was tongue in cheek, a wind up, the more he appologised. I may not be the one to make sure his last dream comes true, as I dont even know where I will be when the season starts, but, plans are sorted, several pals have taken this up, and that old boy will see a damn site more games, than the one he dreams of.

So please spare a thought for the others, is all Im saying, and you SNQ, take note. going, eyes full of water.
