https://www.sunderlandecho.com/spor...pens-his-decision-snub-sunderland-job-2876862 I would have loved to have had him in charge of us at some point over the years. His no nonsense management style and approach would have been a breath of fresh air to a team like us.
If he had been appointed by any chairman up until Parkinson was given the job the message forums would have been unanimously against him. Let’s not kid ourselves.
He knows how to get teams promoted from the Championship. Anyone that would have been against him needs a reality check
Must admit mate, despite his lack of eyebrows he would have been good for us. I don't think he'd have been a popular choice and whether that was due to his having no eyebrows or not is largely irrelevant but he'd have most likely proved the doubters wrong, that's pretty much his forte. Good manager to be fair.
We wouldn’t be on for our third season in the third tier we wouldn’t of been anywhere near the third tier probably at the top of the championship or back in the premiership.
I can't stand the bloke. He's a smarmy bastard. However, he probably would have done better than a lot of the managers that we've employed recently.
I feel the same about Pulis....not everyone cup of tea, but he gets teams promoted (apart from the smoggies) and has them well organised..I would certainly have had Pulis after Ross was shown the door
