Wanyama was an absolute collosus for us today, he won basically every aerial challenge and his tackles and interceptions were spot on, he basically provided the platform for forrest etc to then go and play and his closing down play was tremendous, especially in a old firm derby when tackles are flying in he really took control of the midfield. I also thought that matthews was outstanding and made some vital blocks.
Wanyama has been an absolute gem of a find. Thought the whole defence did well. Rogne got bullied by Jelavic the last time he played against him. Didn't happen tonight. That whole defence cost 200k (that was for Rogne).
100% agree with the posts. Took it all in his stride. ST, Thats amazing when you think about it 200k payed out for that whole defence. Clever work.
