Just seen that the Walsall match scheduled for Good Friday has been postponed. No new date given yet. Anyone got any ideas why? If it was for TV I'd have thought that the new date would be fixed. With a bit of luck it'll mean the squad will at least be better rested for the Bury match on Easter Monday.
I'll answer my own question http://mobile.gillinghamfootballclub.com/news/article/walsall-postponed-2996059.aspx Thought it was a bit unusual
I'm really surprised such a vital fixture has been postponed at such an important time, and during a high revenue period (bank holiday), more impact financially on lower league clubs such has us and is there any compensation for such a cancellation? Certainly agree with Mr Scally's comments.
True that is another way of looking at it and maybe the difference could be the financial £50k returned in benefits if they got us promotion. Every cloud has a silver lining
