Well considering we were missing Allen and Ramsay not a bad result I suppose.

Quite amazing how when he really needs to, Bale usually delivers. Those to balls for Ash and Robson kanu in the last minutes of the game were incredible. How they did not score is also incredible.

Hmmm... wouldn't go that far Valley. Israel beat Cyprus and Belgium thumped Andorra so most teams have won a game. Haven't checked the table though.

Siggy scored a good goal for Iceland tonight too. :)

Agree. Bale really is world class. Give him another 18 months and he'll be the best player on the planet.

What a performance from Wales tonight, every player gave 100% and Henessey is my MOTM, great shift put in by all, and I would say that the only thing we need to work on is service to Bale! Very proud of our lads tonight and a big well done!.................<applause>

PS: Wiliams go and ask Bony how to header the ball son!......................<laugh>

If we keep playing like that we should be fine for at least third place and maybe a playoff game, but second doesn't look out of the question.

We are top of the table, and we must pile some goals against Cyprus, a must win game, and a game we can definitely win!....................<ok>

    Don't et on with neighbours!
Same reason they take part in Eurovision.
The two countries are closer than Swansea to Newcastle.

Yes, a win against Cyprus a must. With all the squad available we are capable of taking points from Belgium and Bosnia away. Good battling performance tonight!

An observation from me tonight, and one that I've thought about for a long time, is that Ashley Williams is terrible in the opponent's penalty area.

He's a great centre back - gets his head to everything and strong as an ox. However, he seems to play in the opponent's area the same way that he plays in our own. Just getting your head to things doesn't cut it when you're at the other end of the pitch.

For a player of the calibre and strength of Williams, he should score many more goals from set plays. Most of his headers tend to balloon upward, and the more that it happens, it leads me to believe that the very few that have gone in have been dumb luck. He needs to get better or else we may as well not put him in the box for these opportunities. Can you imagine Cahill or Jagielka missing that chance tonight?

Overall, a good performance from the boys though. Made some serious chances in the last 20 minutes. Robson Kanu's miss at the end was truly laughable, completely incorrect body shape. Get Allen and Ramsey into that side and I'm sure we'd have given Bale some even better service to work his magic on.

Not great but tonight he was just ahead of the ball which made it difficult to get the ball target. Thought Robson - Kanu should have done better given he's played up front.
Both hard to criticise IMO the speed the crosses were coming in at was pretty quick.
I started watching and got hooked - don't usually stay with the Wales games. Hennessey was outstanding, especially as is prone to at least one howler per game. The back 5 were decent enough although Gunter went missing IMO. Ben and Ash made a few mistakes (or other players weren't on the same wave length with some passes) but they also are the players putting in a big shift. Not sure what position Taylor was playing (5 at the back suggests wing back but he can't attack) and I'm sure it is still quite alien to the players - what he did wasn't bad. The Hull player was a good in parts but gave away a few needless free kicks in dangerous areas.
Williams reminded me of Nathan - got the crap kicked out of him every time he had the ball. Crafty, Bosnians,; kick Bale and the ref is likely to protect him but kick the player feeding Bale and job done.
Bale some flashes of brilliance but still need to choose when to try his tricks as he has a habit of losing possession. Church, I'm sure did a job but was well marked.
Impressed with the contribution go Robson - Kanu. Maybe play him with Bale (Barcelona / Swansea with Borini & Sinclair style).

Coleman - did a good job. Could have lost, could have won but played some very good football against a very good team.
