It must be frustrating for Jazz. Here is a very capable Prem league player losing out on a numbers game with us. He played well when on loan to a Championship club last season. He showed well in his previous appearances for the senior Wales team (in a full back role) and captained the U-X squads (I believe) when he was younger. With the injuries depleting the Wales squad - most recently defenders James Collins and Paul Dummett (who played against us for NU last Saturday) and midfielder Lee Evans - Coleman has decided to ignore Jazz and instead call up Cardiff City's Declan John, and Crawley's Joe Walsh and Gwion Edwards. In what league does Crawley play? I am presuming these players are likely to start on the bench. Thoughts? BTW ... trying to get information on the FAW web site on the current squad .... well the links are broke. Pretty much like everything else - amateur hour.
When has the FAW been anything else except amateurish YJ? Jazz has played very well for us when called upon. Bad mistake by Coleman if he's left him out.
Jazz has been OK and nothing more for us, He is a good championship player but in the premiership he is found wanting. With wales then i could not careless as we will never win anything and most of our top players usually cry off with some fake injury or the flu and go on playing for their clubs in the next game. International football is finished in the UK and not worth the effort to support anymore imo....
He wasn't found wanting against NU. In fact, of he and Taylor, Jazz's performance was the steadier of the two.
**** mine if we can pick Taylor and That clown Declan John (who can't defend), Jazz must gutted. Then again we have got another clown in Coleman in charge. Need any of us say anymore.
What utter tosh. Jazz has shown himself more than capable of fitting in to our back four yet is a defensive midfield player. He's had three games for us in two season yet you write him off. Taylor on the other hand is a compete liability and we are still getting 'he'll be as good as ever but he needs more games' even after his 20 odd appearances; cobblers. Richards was very good in both league cup games and was not found wanting in the Newcastle match. Given a run of 20 games he might even be up to Premier League standards, we don't know! I'd play him ahead of Taylor now. Jazz didn't get picked by Coleman because when the squad was announced Monk had no intention of using him, he wasn't going on loan and (therefore) would lacking match fitness. When he was playing regularly last season Coleman was happy to include him. International football is finished in the UK? Then why are we, on this board and others, questioning the omission of Dyer, Routledge and Britton and applauding Shelvey's inclusion?
Jazz always comes in an injury or suspension or both scenario , cold , with no minutes and does a pretty good job on the left or right . Just imagine if he actually gets a run of games ...I guess we'll have to imagine because he will never get the chance .im amazed Jazz hasn't put in for a transfer to tell you the truth .
Taylor is lacking the consistency that won him plaudits in his first season with us and I suspect that's why many are saying he needs time. We'll see.... As for Jazz I agree with Bob he hasn't looked out of place at all and I'd be surprised if Monk isn't very pleased with him.
Emyr Huws has now dropped out injured. Still no Jazz. But, I think Rhoys Wiggins (Charlton) has been added to the squad .... a defender. So we lose a midfield player and add a defender ... but no Jazz who could play both positions.
YJ Coleman is a ****ing idiot and shouldnt be in charge of Sandfields under 8's. It is no coincidence that players are dropping out, no one wants to play for him, he is a clueless moron and until Wales actually try and get somone who may be good at the job (as was Speed). I couldnt give a stuff what they do. The Faw are totally unprofessional and always looking for the cheap option. From the top to the bottom the whole system and members (comittees) need a total revamp and get people who actually care about football there. Then maybe we may make some progress. Just my opinion.
There's only one conclusion isn't there? For whatever reason, Coleman doesn't rate him - and he's wrong.
Has the club kept quiet? They made a fuss about Dyer and the fact that Roy hadn't been to the Liberty, but we are short of cover at Full back and it isn't beyond the bounds of possibility that we don't want to chance an injury.
We are debating this issue down the king Arthur this very minute, just loged in to see if anyone had noticed the absence of Jazz given the Wales injury list, we have come to the conclusion that it's the Coleman brain fart issue!...........
well if he isn't playing regular football for his club how can one expect him to be chosen for his country?
