Thats your choice mate. we've already done that a few years ago personally a win at Wembley would be my preference. Not saying you are wrong and you were clearly the best team. Maybe somne kind of change where the Champions play thier last game at Wembley would be more apt. Lets be honest, you got promoted with a wimper. Surely abit more recognition is deserved of leicester.? just my opinion mate
Too be honest Swords I'm ambivalent ... my cousin wants Derby to win, purely because he believes their owners wont spend (like the last time they got promoted) and therefore one team likely to finish below us next season (only need another couple then ) ... I tipped your lot to win the play-offs from the start ... you have some very good individuals, 'tho you don't always look a good 'team' ... and a moment of individual skill can turn a cup tie - may the best team on the day succeed ...
Agreed Foss..Ill be happy (after 24 hour flight) if we give a decent account of ourselves. i can (barely ) handle a loss if we try, but ill be reall f**ked off if we lose without having a decent go at it... This game has SWP winner written al over it !
I replied to Swords, because he can actually string a decent sentence together and isn't on the most pointless WUM attempt in the history of WUM attempts Queenie, it's the Championship playoff final, not the FA cup final. The whole World will not be watching, nobody really gives a stuff outside of... Well, probably just QPR and Derby. I'm not even going to bother watching it, honestly couldn't care less who comes up. I'll check the result and give it a "meh" either way, but that's about it. You're acting like you and Derby are the pride of the nation. If you were trying to rub it in and WUM that you had made an FA Cup final, then you'd have a point. Pretty jealous of Hull to be fair. But families around the World will not be gathering round to watch the Championship Playoff final Scrap that, not even families around the Country will bother... It's a non-event as far as fans of teams who aren't QPR or Derby are concerned!
After experiencing both the heartache of a Wembley Play off final defeat and also the incredible feelings of a win, I'm torn. Dont get me wrong, it certainly is an amazing way to get promoted and if someone guaranteed me a wembley win, Id probably take that option, BUT at the end of the day the prize on offer is the biggest thing and the fact that we have already won 1st prize (with ease!) and know we have our feet in the Premier League now, is amazing. Horses for courses and 50/50 chance of either hearbreak or joy for you. Going to be a close match. I predict Derby to snatch it 2-1
