only one manager out there and available that could motivate the players and turn things around.Ok,other than Harry,Im not sure there are too many who would be a huge improvement on MH?. Unless MH was to walk,I just dont think the thought of a 15+ million payoff is an option to TF.Especially with the Mittal/Bhatia interest deminishing?. I didnt want to watch it,but MOTD,yet again was painful
....... As I've said in another thread. The question will be, what managers out there in the marketplace would come our way? Truth is, our club would be a great preposition for a decent manager coming in. 1 - A quality team on hand. 2 - We can only go upwards & onwards from here ............ ( with the right manager of course ) Another question - What current ( decent ) managers out there would look at us? Who do TF / we select from? ..........perhaps, Rafa Benitez?????????
I was pro hughes until yesterday. Now i have to admit, that he wont keep us up. All his time has been used to improve our poor defensive play, and now our midfielders and strikers wont know what to do when they seldom get the ball......C'mon, join the board 'arry.........
No, it was not just that. The reason was the toothless system he used when get the chance to attack. I realised that entirelly just yesterday mate. Here is -13 degree celsius so i might be bit slow because of that....
I've not commented on MH..but now i think if he dont beat Reading then he has to go... All out of excuses now. Cant judge him against Arsenal - a top 5 team... but he has to put up of f off against Reading..In my opion..for what thats worth. Loved him as a player but never rated him as a manager. Think he's been found out TBH!!
I don't blame MH for yesterday i blame Mbia. He was the one who lost his head and got sent off, what was MH to do? For those that went you would have seen a QPR team that was hard to break down.players really commited (apart from Zamora who didn't win a header for half the match) and a team that competed with Arsenal for most of the match. We played well and was unlucky. I never really thought Arsenal would score until M'bia went. It's easy to blame the manager, and i agree we need to start winning but it wasn't MH fault yesterday.
Sorry mate, dont agree with this at all.. He was having a blinder so much better than some of our other "stars" ! Of course he affected the game but defo dont blame him (or MH) for that loss. Why is a prem team relying ona CB to get pooints..where is our strike force? each to thier own mate !
No one can blame MH for Mbia getting sent off. But what he CAN be blamed for is consistently selecting SWP ahead of better players who are now bench warmers, his lack of tactics in ANY game this season, no wins away from home, poor buying (Green), lack of motivation, leaving it until the 70th minute to make changes (have a look at the stats, me and my son can set our watches by him), making changes when we are already in the ****, being reactive instead of pro active, showing NO passion at all, not motivating the team (Mark Bowen seems to be doing that job), the list goes on.
I'm up early on the other side of the pond watching the F1 race in India - I wonder if TF flew out from London to catch the race after the disappointment of yesterday? Well at least the bookies (Bet365) still rate us to just miss relegation over our fellow strugglers:- The silver lining could be a chance to double your money if we do get relegated. Maybe I should - I usually lose when it comes to betting. Reading 8/11 Southampton 5/6 Norwich 4/5 Aston Villa 15/8 Wigan 15/8 QPR 2/1 Swansea 4/1 Looking forward to watching a few stress free games later today.
Totally disagree with this. I was there too yesterday and I kept saying it was only a matter of time before the Arsenal goal came. Near on 70% possession was always going to tell imo. If it hadn't been for a world class display by Cesar we would have shipped 3 or 4. M'Bia was a twat, but Hughes again got the selection and formation wrong. Arsenal were low on confidence and we should have played a side that would compete much better in midfield, thus giving us more possession and more of a chance to create more. We only really tried to get at them once we went a goal down. Did you not notice that SWP's name was met with silence, plus a few boos when it was called out? I blame Hughes for all that as his selection was totally wrong!
So if the selection was wrong who would you have played? Sorry but i thought we went with a game plan and it worked well until M'bia got sent off. Agree just before the sending off i said to my mate they they were pressing more but then again they were the home team and have top players. Sadly too many people think they can do a better job than MH. He is with those players week in and out and knows who to play and when. Agree football is about debate but fans need to get real. WE are bottom of the league without a win. We were playing a top side who we have only beat about twice at their ground in about 80 years. We were 0-0 against them until a sending off and we lost 1-0. Yet fans want his head? Sorry cannot agree with your comments.
Yea and i guess Defoe is coming as player manager too...................... Load of old tripe as usual.
